Itinerary Overview

Day1

Paris – Dijon – Lucerne | From the City of Romance to the Alpine Lakes of Switzerland

Depart from Paris in the early morning, heading towards Dijon, the heart of Burgundy. Stroll through the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy, Place de la Libération, and Dijon Cathedral to experience medieval architecture and wine culture. In the afternoon, cross the French-Swiss border and arrive at Lake Lucerne to check into your hotel.

Dijon

Stroll before the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy, feeling the grandeur where Gothic and Classicist styles blend; beneath the semi-circular arcades of Place de la Libération, one might almost hear the hoofbeats of the Louis XIV era; though small, Dijon Cathedral tells stories of centuries past with its exquisite gargoyles and chiming bells.

It is recommended to depart early and allow ample time for strolling in Dijon.

Lucerne

Arrive at the tranquil shores of Lake Lucerne, check into your hotel, and recharge for tomorrow's journey into the Swiss paradise.

Please note passport checks when crossing the French-Swiss border.

The morning light is best for photography.

Milan

Feel the pulse of the Renaissance beneath the heavy walls of Sforza Castle; pass through the glass dome of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, where the shimmering luxury windows lead you to the Milan Cathedral, the world’s largest Gothic church, whose white marble spires pierce the sky in breathtaking splendor.
