Heidelberg Castle
09:30 Arrive in Heidelberg and ascend to Königstuhl hill via the funicular railway. Visit Heidelberg Castle, the symbol of German Romanticism. Admire the panoramic views of the Neckar River, red-roofed old town, and the Old Bridge from the castle gardens, while listening to fascinating anecdotes about the castle's history and the "Great Barrel."

Karl Theodor Bridge (Old Bridge) & Church of the Holy Spirit
11:00 Stroll to the Baroque-style Old Bridge on the banks of the Neckar River. Gently touch the right hand of the bridge’s bronze monkey for good luck. Then, proceed to the Market Square to visit the magnificent Church of the Holy Spirit, admiring its stained glass windows and the tombs of past Prince-Electors.

Heidelberg Old Town Square
12:00 Free time for lunch. We recommend dining at one of the boutique restaurants around the Old Town Square, where you can try Black Forest ham or exquisite German cuisine.
Rüdesheim am Rhein
13:00 Drive to Rüdesheim am Rhein, the jewel of the Rheinhessen region. Stroll along the famous Drosselgasse, admiring the overlapping red roofs and vineyards, and browse exquisite shops selling local specialties, crystals, and Riesling wines.
Rhine River Cruise (Rüdesheim - Assmannshausen)
15:30 Board a boat at Rüdesheim pier for a UNESCO World Heritage journey along the Rhine River. Admire the castles dotting both banks (such as Rheinstein Castle) and terraced vineyards, experiencing the natural grandeur of a river unspoiled by cross-river bridges.
The cruise season typically runs from March to October. In case of off-season closure or severe weather, it will be replaced by an in-depth land tour of Assmannshausen.

16:00 The cruise arrives at Assmannshausen, a tranquil town renowned for its high-quality Riesling production. Pause by the riverbank to admire the golden shimmer of the setting sun.
Return to Frankfurt
